Laura teaches people from all walks of life, of all ages with every level of ability.

With self-discipline and a willingness to learn, everyone can benefit from yoga. Each student works at their own pace moving towards improved health and vitality.

The true benefit of yoga is revealed as we connect with the quiet strength at the core of our being. As this connection grows our lives become richer and more joyful. Physical health, emotional balance and mental clarity are some of the jewels we acquire on the journey.

Laura teaches regular yoga classes and workshops in Cumbria, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. She is also available to teach elsewhere in the UK by arrangement.

 

Style of Teaching

Laura’s style of teaching is precise, compassionate, demanding and informal. As a student of yoga for more than thirty years, she draws upon her experience of the positive self-transformation yoga brings about and her classes and workshops are delivered with integrity, passion and humour.

The focus of her work is on releasing tension, inhibition and resistance on every level of our being in order that freedom of movement and of personal expression are regained.

 

Simple and Accessible Instruction

Laura is committed to teaching yoga in a simple and accessible way in order that the benefits it has to offer are passed on to as many people as possible.

Each student is encouraged to work according to their understanding and capacity using adaptations and support where necessary.
